I like your addition of what the leader &#039;espouses.&#039;  I believe you are right, that the disconnect between what I &#039;tell&#039; you and what I &#039;do&#039; is a huge warning sign.  The impeccability of our word as leaders is critical to trust, relationship, and our influence.

For me, the chasm...not gap...between what the leader espouses and what the leader enacts...is a major warning sign...  Who carries the message to the leader that these warning signs are present?
