And a fine comment it is. I like your addition of what the leader ‘espouses.’ I believe you are right, that the disconnect between what I ‘tell’ you and what I ‘do’ is a huge warning sign. The impeccability of our word as leaders is critical to trust, relationship, and our influence.

I am curious, do you have ‘warning signs’ that Llopis does not list? For me, the chasm…not gap…between what the leader espouses and what the leader enacts…is a major warning sign… Who carries the message to the leader that these warning signs are present?
